AUTHORIZED OSHA OUTREACH TRAINERS

Safety & Health Training

Qualified individuals can become authorized OSHA Outreach Trainers.  Authorized OSHA Outreach Trainers deliver 10- and 30-hour outreach classes to workers in construction, general industry, and maritime, and 15-hour classes for disaster site workers.  To become an Authorized Outreach Trainer, interested individuals must meet requirements including industry specific safety experience, and complete training courses in the applicable OSHA standards and OSHA trainer course to become authorized. Trainers must attend an update course every 4 years. Read about industry specific requirements by clicking a button above.

Why the Western OSHA Education Center at ASU?

Arizona State University was selected by OSHA to become an OSHA Training Institute Education Center in 2013. We are housed in the Del E. Webb School of Construction, a program in the School of Sustainable Engineering and the Built Environment, which is one of the schools making up the Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering (not an extension services group), giving us access to the leading experts in the industry to help design and deliver courses to you. We have new, state of the art facilities. We give our trainers 24/7 access to resources via our on-line systems, so you can request replacement cards, submit course completion documents, send notification of training - all from our on-line portals, anytime and anywhere you have Internet access.
