OSHA #511 Occupational Safety and Health Standards for General Industry

 

This course covers OSHA policies, procedures, and standards, as well as general safety and health principles. Topics include scope and application of the OSHA general industry standards. Special emphasis is placed on those areas that are the most hazardous, using OSHA standards as a guide.

This course is a prerequisite to the OSHA #501 Trainer Course. This course is also suitable for anyone that wants to gain knowledge regarding the content and scope of the 29CFR 1910 OSHA General Industry Regulations.

 

The registration fee for this course includes a printed copy of the 29CFR 1910 standard, various handout material, and electronic copies of selected presentation materials. The course is delivered in person using a combination of lectures, audio/visual presentations, group workshops, and hands-on demonstrations.

Location: Virtual Instructor Led Training (VILT) - Zoom - Please review the participant guide before registering for the course to ensure you have the appropriate set up for the course. The VILT classes through Arizona State University are available to anyone who lives or works in OSHA Region 9 (Arizona, California, Guam, Hawaii, Nevada, Pacific Territories and American Samoa).
